What the state records show

LicenseNumberStatus
FencingAVISTFL755R3Active
  • Bond $30,000 on file with the state, with no end date (it stays in force until the bond company cancels it).
  • Liability insurance $1,000,000 on file with the state, until Oct 4, 2026
  • We have no job record for them: most fence and gate work needs no permit, so no city record counts their jobs. A license says they may do the work, not that they do it well.

Records: Washington L&I license, bond and insurance files, read Oct 3, 2026.

What to ask before you hire

  • Who wires the gate motor, under which electrical license, and who pulls the L&I permit?
  • Which motor brand and model? Does it meet the UL 325 safety standard (photo eyes, edge sensors)?
  • What happens in a power outage: battery backup, or a manual release?
  • How far back from the street will the gate sit, so a car can wait off the road?
  • Can I have an itemized price: gate, motor, keypad or remotes, trenching for power, footings?
